  • Manage and continuously refine the product backlog to ensure work is ready and prioritized
  • Conduct customer research, workflow analysis, and validate pain points and solutions
  • Triage defects and production issues, prioritizing based on customer impact and risk
  • Drive improvements in system reliability, accuracy, and performance across complex payroll workflows
  • Ensure changes do not disrupt existing customer processes or introduce breaking changes
  • Own product requirements for integrations, including APIs, data mapping, and workflows
  • Ensure integrations meet enterprise standards (security, reliability, scalability, backward compatibility)
  • Partner with Support, Implementation, and other internal teams to reduce friction and improve tooling
  • Use customer feedback, support trends, and data insights to inform product decisions and improve retention

  • Extensive experience in product management for B2B SaaS products, ideally in payroll, fintech, HR, or compliance systems
  • Proven ability to operate as a strong individual contributor, owning outcomes end-to-end
  • Experience working with legacy systems and improving them without disrupting production environments
  • Strong collaboration with Engineering and QA, including handling edge cases and technical tradeoffs
  • Experience delivering integrations and APIs, including:
  • REST APIs, webhooks, or file-based integrations
  • Data mapping, validation, and error handling
  • Reconciliation and operational support considerations
  • Enterprise requirements such as security and versioning
  • Strong written communication skills (requirements, release notes, stakeholder updates)
